Lifestyle Newborn Sessions are for parents who want an in home session with gentle guided posing focused on authentic interactions between family members with natural light. There is no “big production”, no unnatural infant poses, few to no props, no bean bags or baskets to place your baby on or in. Your new addition and your family are the main event - each image focuses on what your life looks like at home in the first few weeks. Your photographs will feel like a memory of your early days with your little one. Images capture your little one, your family, pets and details of nursery, the way the light comes through your windows that makes your story unique.

Lifestyle Newborn Photography is focused on relaxing in the comfort of your own home. Lifestyle photography seeks to capture the natural intimacy between family members.

What to expect from a Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session?

Welcome to Kim Graves Photography, where I offer a luxurious lifestyle newborn experience. From the moment you reach out with an inquiry to the day you receive your complimentary album, I guide you through a seamless and relaxed process. My services include thorough planning, easy scheduling, preparation tips, and hands-on guidance during your photography session.

Throughout the entire experience, I keep you informed about what to expect and guide you through the next steps. Lifestyle newborn photography sessions typically last 1-2 hours, allowing us to accommodate the needs of both baby and mama while capturing beautiful images that narrate your new addition's story.

After your session, you can expect to receive an easy-to-use online gallery within 2-3 weeks, showcasing a minimum of 100 color and black and white images. Following this, your complimentary album will be delivered to your doorstep 3-4 weeks after the session.

Lifestyle Newborn Photography sessions are generally between 1-2 hours. The length of the session depends on your newest addition. All gently, guided poses are depend on your little ones needs and comfort. I strive to keep mama and baby safe, comfortable and relaxed. This makes for a great experience - AND - beautiful connected pictures.
You will receive a gallery featuring a minimum of 100 beautiful images in vibrant colors and emotive black and whites.
Galleries are delivered through an easy to use on line system. All images are downloadable in high resolution images.
As an editor with over a decade of experience you can be rest assured every image goes trough a critical editors eye before making its way to your gallery.
Complimentary albums are included in Lifestyle Newborn Sessions. These are an important way to look back on your early days and display these memories in your home.
All albums are delivered 2-4 weeks after the photography gallery.

Every month brings a whole new experience - whether it is the first wave of nausea, the first flutter, the first solid kick to the ribs (thanks to my middle kiddo for that one!), the first contraction all the way to sitting up and solid food… and if your kids are more advanced than mine you might get the first steps and first word in the first year!

And you can choose to document all the moments you want to. Obviously I choose to dedicate my life to getting not only their firsts, but also a lot of their everyday.
